Deno has native TypeScript, built-in security, and a modern standard library. But deploying Deno apps to production has fewer established paths than Node.js.

Deno Deploy is the official option, but it's shrinking in regions and doesn't give you control over your infrastructure. Self-hosting on a VPS gives you full control.
